38 days until our wedding!!
Derrick's mom, Diana, spent 2 1/2 hours Sunday morning making this delicious mint dough! The dough is so thick and stiff, I have no idea how she stirred it! She has some muscles for sure!! She made mint flavored purple dough and my favorite - delicious cheesecake flavored white dough.
Sunday my soon-to-be aunt and cousin threw me a shower in Topeka! It was a blast! It was decorated so beautiful and I got to sit in a chair that said "Future Mrs. Bates"!
Afterwards, Michelle, Marcie, mom, Diana, and I made the mints. They will be at the cake table. She had flower, heart, and bell shapes for us to use. Sadly, we couldn't stay too late since we all had to get ready for work the next day, so I took home the rest of the cheesecake dough. Kansas City was hit with
another snowstorm, so I spent my snow day productively making mints! We will pop them in the freezer until the big day!
